Happy Friday!

Today I thought that I might feature an illustration that I recently added to my www.maryweaverart.com website. This piece is done with watercolor, colored pencil and chalk pastels. The centers of the flowers are as follows: a peppermint, a cookie, and a gumdrop candy. They are happily sprouting from a watermelon slice.

I'll be working on getting some new art up as soon as I can!

Updated Website

It's been a while since my last post because I have happily been keeping busy. :) I had been trying to get my website up to date for quite a while now and finally accomplished that task. Check it out here: www.maryweaverart.com .

Old photoshop sketch

While looking through some old files of mine I came across this 5 minute warm-up sketch that I did of my little muse late last year in Photoshop. I like to attempt to preserve a sketchy quality when I do practice pieces digitally and I really like the challenge of seeing what I can illustrate in a fixed amount of time.
